Intract Update – August 2026

Play call recordings inside Intract, set retention periods, build custom AI reporters, and get files and diagrams straight from Atlas.

August brought you closer to the conversation and gave you more control over your data. You can listen to calls on the ticket, decide how long recordings are kept, and set up your own AI reporters. Atlas can now hand you finished files.

TL;DR

  • Call playback - Play Audio API recordings on the ticket and click a transcript line to jump there
  • Retention periods - Set how long recordings are kept on a new Data & privacy page
  • Custom reporters - AI analysts with their own focus, schedule and depth, defined by each team
  • Atlas files and diagrams - Documents, slide decks, previews and diagrams, with a new Branding page
  • Easier team management - Invite or create accounts from one window, with team-based ticket references
  • Global search (Cmd+K) - Search tickets, customers, dashboards, reports and workflows from one place
  • Plus - your own fields as ticket columns, resizable ticket columns, a password strength meter, a faster ticket list

Highlights

Listen to calls inside Intract

Recordings sent through our Audio API now play on the ticket page and in the ticket details window. Click any transcript line to jump to that moment, or right-click it to copy the line. If you paused the recording, jumping moves the position without restarting playback.

Retention periods on a new Data & privacy page

A new Data & privacy page in Settings sets how long recordings are kept before automatic deletion. Set a company default, and let each team use its own period or opt out. A change history shows who changed what and when. Files created by Atlas have their own retention setting there too.

Custom reporters

Each team can now define reporters: AI analysts with their own focus, such as product feedback or technical issues. Start from a template or your own instructions, try the focus on real interactions, then publish. Choose how often each reporter runs (daily, weekly or monthly) and how deep it goes (light digest or deep report). See recent runs at a glance and pick which reporter appears on your home page. The Reports page now lists every run in one place, filterable and groupable by reporter, with copy and text export.

Atlas delivers files, previews and diagrams

Atlas can now create documents and slide decks and hand them over as a download card, with one button for all formats. Preview a file beside the conversation in full-screen chat. Atlas can also draw diagrams and simple mockups in the chat, ready to copy or download. A new Branding page stores your logo, colours, display name and font pairing for generated files, and invitation emails now carry your logo and colours.

Easier team management

Admins can invite an existing user or create an account directly from one window. New members get a one-time link to choose their own password, and admins can send a fresh one for a reset. A right-click menu speeds up role changes, and you can set a default team. New tickets get team-based references such as ACME-MKT-42. Existing references keep working.

Also new & improved

  • Global search (Cmd+K): search tickets, customers, dashboards, reports and workflows from one place, and jump to any page in the app.
  • Your own fields as ticket columns: extra business details sent with an interaction through the API, such as a contract type, now appear as ticket columns and in a Business metadata section on the ticket.
  • Resizable ticket columns: drag column edges to resize them, and Intract remembers the widths. Columns with several values show them as chips.
  • Saved views remember columns: saved ticket and customer views now keep your visible columns.
  • Atlas: a stop button beside send, live progress during long tasks, saved views it creates appear in your Views menu straight away, and clear feedback on large attachments.
  • Fix with Atlas: if publishing a workflow fails, one click opens Atlas with the error ready to send.
  • Workflow evaluation scores each output column separately.
  • Business knowledge: you can add or remove source pages everywhere they appear, including in the Generate with AI window.
  • Passwords: show/hide toggle, a strength meter, and a warning when a password has appeared in a known data breach.
  • Authenticator apps now show "Intract" as the account name when you set up two-factor authentication.

Fixes & polish

  • Tickets: filter links add to your view instead of clearing it, selection mode closes when you deselect the last row, the group-by menu no longer squashes long names, and exports say when they hit the row limit.
  • Atlas: long answers keep scrolling to the end, reopened conversations keep their order, and errors mid-answer are now shown.
  • Workflows: errors in AI classification steps are now reported clearly, and workflows with merging branches give consistent results.
  • Settings: uploading profile pictures and company logos is smoother.
  • Speed and reliability: the ticket list loads faster on large teams.
