Privacy policy

This page explains which personal data we collect through this website and in our business contacts, why we use it, and what rights you have.

01Who we are

Intract is developed and operated by Genwise SRL, a company under Belgian law, Beethovenstraat 38, 1800 Vilvoorde, Belgium, enterprise number BE 1003.479.648. Genwise is the controller for the processing described on this page.

For any question about your data, write to support@intract.cx.

02What this policy covers

It covers this website, demo requests, and our professional contacts with companies and their staff, on LinkedIn, by email or by phone.

It does not cover the data our customers process in the Intract platform, such as their own customers' calls. For that data, Genwise acts as a processor on behalf of the customer, under a data processing agreement. If one of our customers processes your data in Intract, please contact that company first.

03When you request a demo

  • Data: first name, last name, work email and, if you give it, your company. The first three are needed to answer you.
  • Purpose: answer your request, arrange the demo and follow up on it.
  • Legal basis: steps taken at your request before a possible contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR) and our legitimate interest in following up on business requests (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).

We only send you news about Intract if you have agreed to it. Every email lets you unsubscribe.

04Business prospecting

We contact professionals whose role matches the teams Intract is built for, such as customer service, quality, operations or compliance, mainly in Belgium.

  • Data: name, job title, employer, work email, work phone, LinkedIn profile URL and the history of our exchanges.
  • Sources: your public professional profile on LinkedIn, your company's website and B2B contact data providers (Apollo.io).
  • Purpose: contact you about Intract and follow up on our exchanges.
  • Legal basis: our legitimate interest in developing our business with companies (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). We only write about subjects linked to your professional role, and we stop as soon as you ask.

If you tell us you are not interested, we stop contacting you on every channel. We keep only your name and contact details on a do-not-contact list, so that we don't contact you again.

05Cookies and visit data

We use no advertising or tracking cookies. The site sets two essential cookies: NEXT_LOCALE, which remembers your language for one year, and intract_consent, which remembers your cookie choice for six months. Neither is used to track you.

Analytics cookies are only set if you accept them in the cookie banner. You can refuse them in one click, and change your choice at any time from “Cookie settings” at the bottom of every page.

Our host, Vercel, processes the technical data needed to deliver the site, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested, and keeps it for a limited time for security and troubleshooting. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in a secure, working website (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).

06Who receives your data

We don't sell your data. We share it only with the service providers that help us run Intract, under contract and on our instructions:

  • Microsoft (Microsoft 365): email
  • HubSpot: management of our business contacts (CRM)
  • Calendly: meeting booking, when you use one of our booking links
  • Vercel: website hosting
  • Apollo.io: B2B contact data

When we write to you on LinkedIn, LinkedIn also processes the messages, under its own privacy policy.

07Transfers outside the European Economic Area

Some of these providers are based in the United States or can access data from there. These transfers rely on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework when the provider is certified, or on the standard contractual clauses adopted by the European Commission. You can ask us for a copy of these safeguards.

08How long we keep your data

  • Demo requests and business relationships: for the duration of the relationship, then up to 3 years after our last contact.
  • Prospects who have not replied: 12 months after our last message.
  • Do-not-contact list: as long as needed to respect your choice.
  • Technical logs: for the limited period set by our host.

09Your rights

You can ask to access, correct or delete your data, to restrict its use, or to receive it in a portable format. Where we rely on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time. Write to support@intract.cx. We answer within one month and may ask you to confirm your identity.

Right to object. You can object at any time to the use of your data for prospecting, on one channel or on all of them at once. We then stop, without you having to give a reason. You can also object to any other use based on our legitimate interest, for reasons related to your situation.

We don't make decisions about you based solely on automated processing.

You can also lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority, Rue de la Presse 35, 1000 Brussels, dataprotectionauthority.be.

10Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when our practices change. The date at the top of the page shows the current version.
